Church Testimonial letter Heading

Dear Paul,

It is now some weeks since the electrical work was completed at the church.  You will be pleased to know that at a recent members meeting I was asked to write on behalf of everyone and express appreciation for the work that has been done.  I would like to add my personal thanks for the good work that has been done.

We were impressed by the detailed quote, the skill, helpfulness and conscientiousness of the electricians and are delighted with the result.  The new lighting is a great improvement and everything came in on budget.

Please use this letter as a recommendation toothers and do not hesitate to contact us if anyone wants to view the work done.  We look forward to continuing as customers as we contact you for our future electrical maintenance needs.

Thank you, Paul and please pass on our appreciation to Stig and the others.

Yours sincerely

Subject: With thanks

Dear Paul,

Firstly many apologies for not writing to you sooner.  I feel that it is appropriate for me to write this email to you and the company on behalf of the Parochial Church Council of St. Peter's Church, Streatham.

We all here at St. Peter's would like to thank you and your colleagues for the wonderful work that your company undertook here at the Church when we needed some considerable work done on our lighting.  Your electrical check found many areas that needed urgent attention and you undertook them all to the highest quality possible.

Thank you for your time in meeting with us and also for your advice on the best way to proceed forward. Please give my grateful thanks to the men you sent to undertake the works needed.  They were polite and most willing to please, nothing seemed too much trouble and it was a joy to meet you all.

I am quite sure that when we need any further work doing we shall again be in touch.

Best wishes,

Fr. Peter Andrews
Vicar,

The Council for the Care of Churches recommends that churches have their electrical installations inspected and tested every five years, every three years if the church has a public entertainments license.  It is also recommended by the HSE that there is an inspection (but not a test) carried out every year.

CHURCH ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS

Our services have been employed in several large projects involving Church rewiring, updating lighting systems and installing emergency lighting as required.  We derive a great deal of satisfaction in making certain these large buildings are completely safe for the public and the clergy involved.  Tasks have included adding spotlights and coloured lighting effects as well as dimmer switches and frequently upgrading electrical ring mains to current requirements.

It is the responsibility of the Church Wardens to ensure that the necessary testing is performed and that any repairs required are undertaken.

There may be questions regarding the validity of your church insurance in the event of an electrical fire if testing and maintenance of your electrical installation are neglected.  It is also recommended that all portable electrical appliances, that is any appliance that is plugged in rather than permanently wired in, are inspected and tested on a regular basis to minimise the risks of injury to users.

Contractors undertaking testing work in churches should be enrolled with the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC).

Arkle Bros. provide a full Inspection and Testing Service, plus new installations and/or maintenance contracts.  Undertaking this type of work in church buildings poses its own particular problems.  As we are specialist electricians concentrating on working in church environments, you can have complete confidence in our ability to look after your electrical installations.
Arkle Bros Ltd Electrical Contractors have been providing electrical contractor services in London and South East England for over 20 years.  Our expert team of approved electricians provide a wide range of specialist electrical services fully compliant with health & safety regulations, legal, NICEIC Approved and meeting all UK regulatory requirements.
